Anime: Seiken Gakuin no Maken Tsukai d1k32

Demon lord reborn after 1000yrs as human kid in an advanced society. In the initial eps he adjusts to modern life, and slowly starts extending his influence. This season is probably just the beginning, because he has not achieved his goal of finding his love from the past life, who too should have been reborn. For now he helps the people around him in fighting back some advanced alien like enemies.

The animation was generally good. But during fights, the choreography is not very good.

A pretty girl who loves him, and some little bit of fan service is all you get (no ecchi). This is not quite a harem, though there are other girls who are not quite in the spot light. The general story itself is the highlight, and this was refreshingly good.

The MC has some interesting underlings and they were fun.

Overall it was an enjoyable watch.

As Animeloving correctly said, it's an eye-candy. Because they had opted to go with a 10 y.o. character, I doubt there will be any good story even if there will be season 2. And, what I did not expect is a extremely bad cliche in the last two episodes. I have a soft spot for vampires, but I truly felt sorry for such a bad portrayal and reuse of the mechanics/vampire queen dress, can't even put it well into words.

Girls are pretty, no doubt, trying adult jokes which feel out of place in the face of mentioned 10 y.o. protagonist. Good time filler nevertheless, not sure if there is AT-X version, but there is almost no fanservice except for obligatory bath episode.

Sometimes you want eye candy, and it's been scarce for several seasons now. well this show filled that craving. overall nice looking design work, and cute girls, without annoying characters like most shows tend to have. it's not a literary masterpiece so what sometimes you want some junk food.

The concept of a Demon Lord being reincarnated into a high schooler has been done multiple times and what always makes this premise interesting is the endless direction this can go in. Initially, this started out ok, but got generic with the uninteresting characters and general vibe of the OP main character. Overall, if you're looking for another isekai anime, this will fit the bill but doesn't set itself apart from its counterparts.

Average at best. It felt like a ripoff of Dead Mount Death Play, but tremendously weaker. It's interesting in its own ways, but I really wished for a less spineless MC. Honestly, the interactions between him and his "minions" felt really forced and super cliche.

The storyline is kind of different, but if they had done it first it wouldn't feel like a ripoff. If you're looking for something to fill the void, it will do that, but don't expect too much.
