In particular was Project "7 SEEDS", in which five sets of seven gifted young men and women were carefully selected and placed into teams (Spring, Summer A, Summer B, Autumn and Winter). 7 Seeds has an interesting plot of humanity going extinct and only a handful of people surviving. What I enjoyed about this season was the survival nature, twists and flashbacks. What I didn't like were a good portion of the characters are either uninteresting or annoying. Hopefully the plot as well as the characters improve in the next season.

I can understand to an extent why this series has a lower rating. But that's only because some people can't maintain multiple storylines in a single series.
All of the people are going to cross paths eventually, and the series does a fantastic job showing the impact of what happens to people and how it affects their future decisions.
I'm going to go grab season 2 and continue watching. This was great. Definitely not a super-low rating as it would appear.

Really great mystery series, that I almost missed because of the low rating. Then I noticed the Netflix bashing comments, and realized the low rating might have nothing to do with how good the anime was, might just be the Netflix booing squad in action, and gave this series a try. Glad I did so!

If your the type that likes conclusions, wait for the 3rd season the come out as this season and season 2 don't really conclude anything. Recommended only if season 3 is out and concluded.

UNREASONABLY low rating. Seriously, this is a very interesting mid-level anime, which is not at all a pity to spend time on. Yes, there are some small flaws, but what anime without some of them, they get their 9 or 10 points. And this? ...this anime more than deserves 7 or 8, depending on your taste ... But not some miserable 3-5.
The only big minus is that the story cuted in the middle for the second season.

Surprisingly good! Story is pretty fast pace, when you think the story should go toward one direction, it changes to something different. But the ending is just in the middle of story line, so don't expect it tells the complete story, it still have long way to go.

A dramatic story of living after a post-apocalyptic event with varying groups of individuals that are living together and working to survive that each has their own traumatic backstories that seem to play out a little over the top at times. Ends with a cliffhanger so if you starting this and hoping for a conclusion wait for season 2.
