On one hand, this would be a good opportunity to drown in nostalgia, but on the other hand there's a trap card I'm not too excited about this, mainly because Yu-Gi-Oh was just so bad that it's good, but in an even more awesome way than usual. Then again, I have no experience with the original Jap dub, so it's always highly possible that it was more straight-faced. Well, either way, I have to say it, and you have to say it with me...

lol something other than that? I have a kind of nostalgia for YGODM, so I'm somewhat interested since it seems there'll be Yuugi and Kaiba in this movie.

It's YGH, what kind of story do you expect to have other than children's card games?

eer, that's what I was trying to find out here..I, for one, liked the egyptian elements from Duel Monsters and such..but, since it will be a movie after all, yeah, it probably won't have much to show other than pure card battles, just like in Chou Yuugou! Toki o Koeta Kizuna. Never mind, I'll find out by myself.

It's Yu-Gi-Oh! for fucking fuck's sake, what kind of plot anybody would expect that wouldn't involve people playing a children's card game to begin with?! It has always been about the children's card game.

LittleKuriboh has been lately I doubt he'll have time for this one, so any chance of this movie getting an abridge version is less 1%.

Badass Kaiba being badass

^ I always try to keep away from all trailers and stuff before watching a show, so I wouldn't build up any false hype, BUT HOT DAMN! this looks badass as hell, can't wait to hear Seto's crazy laugh again, freaking Kenjirou always plays the cool character voices with his smooth voice, so it's always a treat to hear him unleash the beast whenever he plays Kaiba.

Damn that trailer looks pretty good. Im one of those guys that liked the classic YGO series (with kaiba yuugi etc) before they had all these new characters.

I still playing yu-ghi-oh prodev from time to time (fan made yugiohgame).

Finished watching the movie:

Daaaaaaamn! I don't know what to say, I mean, as far as duels go, they weren't really all that amazing by today's yugioh series's standard, the first series old age really shows how simple it was back then and it holds the movie back a lot, so don't get your hopes up for that, other than that though, this was a great yugioh movie, especially if you're a fan of the first yugioh series, which unlike the other movies, this one feels more like a final episode for the first series.

Have to say though, that ending blew my mind, like everything is fine until the last 10 seconds of the show where you are left with your jaw on the floor and with planet sized questions, that's why yugioh shows always nailed the anti-hero type of characters, freaking Kiba, gotta love him.
