Studio Dootaku was an animation studio presided over by Takahashi Motosuke. The name was derived from the phrase douga no taku (動画の宅) meaning "video house" or "animation house" as well as doutaku (銅鐸), large Japanese bells made from bronze that were manufactured during the Yayoi period.
