A short called "Furiko" (or "Pendulum"), that was featured on Japanese variety show.

The anime was drawn by the Japanese comedian Tekken (鉄拳), who named himself after the fighting game.

The short was later adapted into the official music video for the song used in the short, "Exogenesis Part 3 (Redemption)" by Muse, and was extended to meet the full length of the song.

Note: This is the pilot version of a Japanese/French co-production of a Lupin TV series made in 1982. Due to copyright issues surrounding the Arsène Lupin name, not a single episode was completely finished and the whole project was cancelled. 30 years later the pilot episode was included on the Lupin 40th Anniversary Master File Blu-ray set as a bonus. There is no spoken dialogue, instead the anime features hardcoded Japanese subtitles.

Created for Saitama Prefecture, the series' 7-minute episodes promote tourist locations in the Prefecture.

Every episode included a five-minute story segment that showcased the prefecture in spring, summer, fall, or winter. Following each story, a two-minute explanation segment included instructions on how to travel to featured areas from Tokyo by train.

Episodes included the love story Sakura no Omoide, the gag comedy story Saitama Koukou Housou-bu ~Natsu no Kankou Annai~, the fantasy story Yuusha Higan to Hime-sama no Bouken, and the family story Winter Sweet Home. The anime's four episodes available in Japanese with subtitles in Japanese, English, Chinese (traditional and simplifed), Korean, and French. Eight people living or working in Saitama were selected from 223 applicants to voice act in the series.

In the year 2006 the kid brothers Hibito, on a nightly hunt for animal sounds in the local woods, unexpectedly see a blazingly bright rotating flying object in the sky, right above their home town. After a short moment the UFO accelerates towards the surface of the Moon. Witnessing this, the two youngsters vow to become astronauts and some day travel into space.

Now in 2025 younger brother Hibito, as the first Japanese, made it into the NASA team that will set foot on the Moon again. Mutta, on the other hand, defending his brothers honour, gets fired from his car designer job. The older of the two brothers has not forgotten about their dream from back then though... and on a fateful day his life changes.

He lives a poor but peaceful life with his grandfather, along with the other destitute and abandoned vagabonds near the river. One day, his peaceful life changes when a strange monster, a so-called Player appears, chopping off heads and killing everyone in sight.

The series is an extended epilogue of the children's book, where we follow the journeys and explorations of Gabu, a wolf who is also Mei's courageous best friend. Each episode tells how Mei and Gabu try to have adventurous fun, but have to hide their companionship from their respective tribes at the same time.

Enemies by nature, sworn friends by nurture; One Stormy Night series incorporates the vision of devotion of friendship despite being two opposing animals, a goat and a wolf - Mei who should be the prey and Gabu the predator. The story emphasizes the crucial theme that anyone from anywhere can cultivate spirited friendships with a little heart and courage as mirrored by the impossible friendship of Mei and Gabu.

The siblings of the Miyagawa family continue to stumble into misunderstandings regarding their appearance: the 180 centimetres tall Atsumi, measuring only 137 cm, gets confused with a child prodigy, even though she actually is a normal high school student.

A day later, on 7th of April, 2012, the first 2 episodes were combined for a theatrical screening shown in 10 theatres across Japan until 20.04.2012. The first DVD/BD volume contained 2 episodes, subsequent volumes contained 4 episodes.

The Achiga Girls' Academy in Nara once defeated regional mahjong powerhouse Bansei High School. It advanced into the national team semifinals but lost to the eventual champion, and the mahjong club was later disbanded.

Six years later, elementary school student Haramura Nodoka. The two eventually enter Achiga Girls', but Nodoka transfers out of the school in the second year.

When Shizuno sees Nodoka on television the following year as the national middle school individual mahjong champion, she decides to revive Achiga's mahjong club.

Huainanzi, the mysterious Chinese book bound in bamboo, was ripped apart and sent through time to different historical junctures. In the beginning of the 21st century, a world war broke out. In its aftermath the Earth's ecosystem was irrecoverably affected, and there was no choice but to escape the now devastated Earth to live in space. A new era began with the Star Calendar 0000. Shortly afterwards entertainment was prohibited by law and the sacred place for otaku, Akihabara, became the public entertainment's final line of defence and the only place to perform.

In Star Calendar 0048 once more a group was formed in the hope to resume the legacy of the legendary idol act AKB48, which continued to shine even during the Earth's downfall. With the law in place they were deemed as an illegal act and unable to hold official live events. This is when the group's concept changed. Instead of the idols you can meet they became the idols who come to meet you. Branded as terrorists by the authorities they did not give up and decided to take up arms to protect the stage they stand on, for their fans.

The name of these girls who succeeded the famous name and fight for the freedom of entertainment is... AKB0048.

The story revolves around a sixth-grade boy named Yuuta on his summer vacation. His father ed away one year ago in a traffic accident, and Yuuta now goes alone to visit a place where he and his father once shared memories. The two had gone often to an unused dam deep in the mountains to collect the rhinoceros beetles nearby. Yuuta suddenly receives a shock in a thunderstorm, loses his footing, and gets knocked out. When he wakes up, he sees a small girl and a village — except this village is the one that should be submerged below the dam. Yuuta realizes that he slipped back time to over thirty years ago, before the dam was completed. Another summer vacation, and another chance for Yuuta to reclaim what cannot be reclaimed, begins.

Tokyo, Winter.

Despite the use of the Youth Ordinance Bill to enforce curfews for minors and regulate the use of the Internet, young people continue to fight for their own freedom through underground methods. One such group calls themselves Surat. They have decided to take on Nanahara Fumito, a man who has great influence in the political world, and basically controls Tokyo with an iron fist. While using the Internet as a weapon to discover more information about Fumito, they learn about Tower, the secret organization behind Fumito which engages in human experimentation.

When of Surat attempt to set up an ambush in the subway to expose the truth behind Tower, mysterious creatures suddenly appear and attack the engers. During this crisis, Saya appears — a young girl who uses a Japanese blade to slay the Old Ones. The same Saya who lost everything dear to her in that horrifying incident in the Ukishima Province.

What sort of experiment is Fumito and Tower trying to conduct using the Old Ones? And can Saya finally deliver vengeance to Fumito? Now, the final battle begins...

Tokyo in the fall of 2020, when computers have become ubiquitous, pervading almost every aspect of city life. Mako a high school senior navigates the vagaries of daily life.

Fast food restaurants use robots to help serve customers, the level of automation makes human staff almost superfluous. Her friend Hiromi has taken on a computer-based part-time job, that she is presently working on while waiting for Mako in the restaurant. Recently an artificial intelligence ed the high school examinations. Since Mako's examination is only six months away, it slightly depresses her to potentially fail at something an AI already has ed. Just then an earthquake warning appears on the mobile device, predicting the exact time, magnitude, and location. Holding up her portable device, an augmented reality view is shown, pointing to the next safe exit from the shopping mall. A call from her mother tells Mako of her father's breakdown...

During the Spring and Autumn period of ancient China, in the western state of Qin, lived two boys, Shin (Xin) and Hyou (Piao), orphaned by war. They spend their days in strenuous training with the goal of one day being great military commanders. The turning point in their lives occurs when Hyou catches the eye of Minister Shou Bunkun (Changwenjun), who gives him the opportunity to serve in the imperial palace.

However, a power struggle occurs shortly thereafter. Hyou is gravely wounded and barely escapes with his life to return home. He entrusts a map into the care of Shin. Following its direction, Shin encounters Sei (Zheng), the young king of Qin, who would in later life be known as Shikoutei (ShiHuangDi).
