A complete collection of every last one trope imaginable.

Somehow it manages to not get boring in S1 despite poor fighting animation. Show liberally uses time skips to tell the story of Rio growing up, glossing over a lot of things. Viewers left with all the blanks to fill by themselves, which is a surprisingly cunning way to keep engaged those with good imagination.

Then show dissolves into typical trashy boring mediocre isekai in S2.
The most idiotic thing is how they remade the S1 ending in the recap at the start of S2. They made it closer to the source LN and it became 100 times more stupid, because the source LN is choke full of dumb and lazy writing.

Another example of wasted potential in anime.

I don't think it's as bad as other stories of a hero being transported to another world, but our main protagonist for reasons unknown is un-killable. I don't have an issue per se with that, it's just that it's done cheaply in a way that you never feel any fear of loss.

FYI they also use 3d animations at times, which for me was a little jarring. Nothing special to write home about but not too terrible either.

Story is cliched, OP MC, harem, etc. But here in 12 eps they go through almost 10 yrs so quite a lot happens. Character development is averagish.

Overall its fun and i don't think it was time wasted.

I'm honestly underestimating this a lot. Early is okay-ish, and 2nd half are the best parts, but the mid part was the one making me drop.

It's honestly a very well balanced isekai with some comfy semi-harem (so none of the really trashy stuff). Each arc/encounter feels meaningful, and there's something at "stake" unlike other trash isekai.

But again, frame your expectation. It's still in the low-tier, notably useless battle/power, overall plot is shit. Albeit the harem, sub-plot, & interaction aspects all stand out.

I enjoyed it a lot and I hate how it ended in the middle of action. I believe everyone will find something for himself here, a tough start with hard fighting abilities development, lots of travels, friendship and cute girls. Nice action, when you would start to think that's it's getting way to 'sweet', it can become even gore just a tiny bit. Personally I liked it a lot and the story is actually rather interesting.

Pleasantly enjoyabe watch all round

Premise is a blend of the recently popular themes of tensei in an isekai world (aristocratic medieval + magic setting) and ML starting weak, became strong and kinda got redemption in the end
Of course standard harem & fan service applies, and I am very happy about

But rather its how the adventure & story unfolds with nice pacing, and how the MC is potrayed tht made this such a great watch
Sure ML start off a loser, quickly became OP but it manages to balance the OPness and his attitude without being snubbish, well grounded and in fact likeable
Fights are enjoyable well balanced to keep me at my seats edge while having MC in control

The artwork and animation have a rather decent effort put into it. Lots of cute girls, great design but no nudity being exploited here, and some nice rom-com going as well

Does end with S2 in mind, overall well done rec'ed for tensei, isekai, and OP revenge/redemption MC fans. 7/10 for me eagerly waiting S2

Extremely mediocre. Not a waste of time per se, but only hardcore isekai fans would find it truly enjoyable.

Surprisingly good! There has been multiple isekai series recently, and this one was engaging from the beginning. The main character does feel like SAO Kirito at some point. Although I do think that the ending was a little bit slow and expected for typical isekai, I still hope that there will be season 2.

As it stands, this is a good setup for future seasons that are unlikely to ever be made.

In the unlikely event that an additional season (or more) is ever made I would probably recommend watching all of it. However, people who aren't fans of isekai series or some of the other tropes present here may never really enjoy this season.

It's always interesting to see how these type of shows start... a MC being summoned or reincarnated to another world. The beginning can be difficult to watch with the bullying that takes place, but it was interesting to see his travels. This had potential with spiritual powers, spirits and magic. Although, this quickly gets generic as the series progresses. For fans of isekai based anime.

Huge fan of isekais. This one is less of "MC has everything going for him and nobody can oppose him" and more "the MC gradually discovers his strength". The part that I enjoyed about this is there was SO little focus on fanservice, even though they could gone that route extremely easily.

The MC learns about his past, his future, about his companions, and about the things that could happen. The MC acts honorably throughout the series, and the only time he doesn't is when it's appropriate.

Anyone who's interested in isekais and character growth, watch this, you'll enjoy it.
