Anime: Totsukuni no Shoujo 103v6h

Based on a Manga by Nagabe. Artistic artstyle, no voice lines. Enjoyable short story.
Has character design similarities to Kore Yamazakis "Mahou Tsukai no Yome", even though the style of both works could not be more different.

Definitely mostly for fans of the manga who know and love the story. Otherwise its for people who are interested in symbolism, art and fairytales.

It's a beautiful animation which is very true to the manga which looks as if it has been drawn just with a pencil or mostly black/dark crayons. It's unexpected that this OVA has no dialogue but it fits pretty well since the background music is expressive enough. The mood is perfect since the original story is also tranquil and full of emotions with a bit of creepiness.

Basically the OVA kinda summarizes what the story is about without telling it in full detail which is a feat in itself! It also gives me hope that the whole story will be animated someday since the manga truly can be called a masterpiece.

A real beauty and very much recommended!
